Or rather, what is left of them. The gardens were one of the many areas greatly affected by the Lao's arrival. Once a beautiful place, filled with the colour of flowers and the gentle flow of water from its central fountain, it now lies in ruins. The fountain is broken and the flowers have been unmaintaned for far too long. Some still come here for a moment's peace, however.
