APPEARANCE
Cass stands at just under six feet in height. His height makes it slightly confusing as to why he is often called pixie by others. The reason for this nick name is because Cass used to be pretty short for his age, and only had a growth spurt in the last year. His feminine like features and bright blonde hair doesn’t really help either. His eyes are sharp and he’s often wearing a look of suspicion. Cass has horns roughly the same colour as his hair, a sort of golden blonde. True to his species, he also has a pair of large black wings, stretching from just above his shoulder to the back of his knees in length when they are folded in and have strange protrusions of bone, like individual hooked claws. His tail starts at the base of his spine and the tip barely brushes the floor when he stands. His tail tip is slightly rounded as well rather than sharp, pointed. Cass also has long ears. He self-pierced two silver hoops in his right ear and three in his left.

Being a lover of casual clothes, Cass doesn’t really care what he wears as long as he is comfortable in them and is able to move easily. Because of this, he’ll normally wear slightly baggy trousers, of a darker colour usually. Cass always wears his short sleeved, high collared jacket which ends again at the back of his knees. There’s a choker around his neck he often wears which is also what he has attached his orb to. As for shirts and shoes, Cass goes with whatever he can find, usually going for a slightly brighter colour for his shoes. There are chains along the back of his jacket. Cass also has his number tattooed down the side of his neck, ending just at his right shoulder. He also has a tattoo of two circles over his other shoulder.
PERSONALITY
Cass is a charmer. He likes to please people so will change his personality, rather the way he acts, depending on the people around him. Because of this it makes it very easy for him to fit in at almost any situation with almost any individual. However, despite his ability to seem cheerful and excited or moody and depressed in a split second, they are generally not his actual emotions. Cass is a surprisingly skilled liar and to be honest, he enjoys it.

There are a few personality traits that remain no matter what he is pretending to feel. Firstly, he has a very stubborn streak. Cass hates loosing or giving up on something. This can be a good thing, especially on difficult missions. However, it can get rather annoying when he’s playing a game or doing one of those mind puzzles and can’t figure it out. It can get pretty dangerous when he’s fighting as well as he doesn’t want to stop until all the enemy have been wiped out. Along with this stubborn streak, he can also get pretty competitive. Unlike some, he isn’t afraid to play dirty to win, he’ll just try and do it in a way that looks like it’s completely legal what he’s doing.

He is neither quick to trust nor quick to forgive. Cass has felt the sting of betrayal. Therefore, when it comes to meeting strangers he doesn’t tend to waste his ‘charming words’ on them unless they deem themselves trustworthy to him. If he ever feels betrayed, he makes sure it is known and it is almost impossible to earn his forgiveness. His view on betrayal is rather broad. It can range from someone actually turning against him and fighting to kill him to someone insulting his appearance in a non-joking way. Another thing Cass suffers from is pride. He takes great pride in his achievements and won’t hesitate in bragging about them at times.

Although, he does have a few soft spots in his personality. Cass has a weak spot for anyone younger than him. He feels protective over them, almost as if he were an older brother. Cass happens to be frightened by lightning (he almost got struck by lightning once). He is always willing to hear or tell a joke and mess around as long as it doesn’t mess up whatever game or mission he is doing. Also, he is a bit of a player amongst both men and women. Cass has never been into full on relationships, he finds flings more fun. However whoever is lucky, or unlucky, enough to be his current partner is always treated with respect and kindness, as equals to him. He is very much a people person and prefers to be around others than on his own, unless a mission calls for it.
HISTORY
Cass was born to a large family. He had five brothers, two were older the other three younger, and four sisters, all younger than him. Most were fairly close in age, there were three sets of twins amongst his siblings. Apparently Cass was meant to be a twin as well, but his twin was stillborn. His parents were often very busy so he grew up taking care of his younger siblings and depending on his older two. In a family of ten though there are bound to be arguments, accidents where everyone is trying to pin the blame on someone else. Because of this, Cass developed a skill at lying, almost always able to convince his parents of his own innocence and his siblings guilt. At the same time he also developed his changing personalities as he enjoyed getting along with his brothers and sisters, although each of them had very different personalities. He chose to change his own so he could get along with them better.

He was at a young age when he discovered his talent at illusions, around seven. It was also around that age that the war really hit his family. They had been living on the outskirts of the areas most hit by the fighting between Lao and Zukai, hiding away to keep themselves safe. However as the fighting spread, his family were inevitably forced to join one of the two sides. His parents chose to fight for the Zukai. One time, they made the children hide before heading out to fight, and never came back. Even now Cass doesn’t know what happened to his parents.

Over the next few years he lived depending solely on his older brothers who would go out stealing food for them. They were constantly on the move to try and avoid the conflict. Two siblings died in those years. He was fifteen when they found themselves in the middle of a huge battle again. This time, Cass was split from the rest of his family, injured badly enough to be thought of as dead. To this day Cass thanks his lucky stars, and who ever was watching out for him, that he survived the next few weeks. Alone now, he decided that the best thing for him to do was join a side, to become part of the battle. Just as his parents did before him, Cass travelled to where the Zukai were based. After a while of persuading, arguing and a small amount of fighting, he was eventually accepted and placed as a Scout for them. He loves his job as it allows him to see more of the world he lives in. At the same time, he can use his ability to his advantage, able to sneak in behind enemy lines for short periods of time.
ATTRIBUTES
Power: Creating illusions - The bigger the illusion the shorter the length of time he can hold it for. He uses his ability to make it easier as a scout. By casting an illusion over himself he can sneak behind the enemy lines and try to discover secrets or plots. However, it is a hard illusion to hold and he has only been able to keep it stable for a maximum of four hours, although he is exhausted afterwards and is only just able to remain conscious.

Weapons: Midyun Ayuszi (English:Demons Tongue). Whip like weapon made out of smooth pieces of metal all interlocked and joined together. When used, the smoothness can be altered to having short, sharp spikes, making the metal whip able to hook into things and tear as well as slash. This whip was made by his mother from collecting scraps of metal during their travels. It is a fairly heavy weapon though so when he has to fly long distances on a Scout mission, he will carry light weight knives and a rope whip instead.
