APPEARANCE
Not much is known about Solluun’s real appearance, aside from his substantial hieght, which is obvious. His eyes are a solid milky white colour, and aside from the pallid skin visible in the eye and mouth opening of his helmet, and his enormous feathered wings, his entire body is encased in a large suit of solid, heavy white armour. His helmet is a dome shape, adjoining the armour, while black clothing beneath hides his body shape. Despite its excellent condition, the armour shows small signs of aging, it’s inspiring shine reduced to a dull gleam. At full height, Solluun is an imposing sight, with a winspan alone of 4 meters; his armour leaves much of his actual physical size to speculation, as none living know much about it. His wings, in somewhat of a contrast to his seemingly noble armour, also greatly betray his age. The large white feathers are tainted with dirt, appearing unclean, as if a reflection of the angel’s past. Although he does not often use them, Solluun is able to fly, though he almost never does so, unless to pursue targets during rare engagements in battle. The mark of the Lao is carved in a small marking on the right of his helmet. Occasionally, a vapour-like cloud escapes from his mouth as he exhales, as if in cold weather; yet another seeming indication of the great angel’s age.
PERSONALITY
Solluun is a dedicated, straightforward, and brutal commander. He does not concern himself at all with anyone of lower rank, and has no lieutenants or second hands. To his allies, he is an experienced commander, but is highly critical of even the best laid or thought out plans, and is often simply left to his own devices. He is cold, not hesitating in the slightest to kill any enemy that he sees of no use to him or to the Lao. He does everything to destroy the resistance and assist the Lao, and acts without a hint of mercy. He sends whatever soldiers he has directly into battle, treating them as mere objects for him to use, as though he needs them only to fight for him. He seems to focus only one on thing: crushing the Zukaian resistance, no matter what. As he is an adept commander of troops, Solluun rarely engages in battle, however, and despite his obvious age, he is still a fearsome warlord in combat.
HISTORY
Much of Sollun's actual known history is somewhat unknown. Before his death, his time was one of ritualistic ideologies and cults. Somewhat before his time, Sollun's deceptive use of power began at an early age. Manipulating many seperate groups, he eventually usurped power from them all, gathering a following with his noble and persuasive nature that he turned into his own army. However, numerous uprisings arose throughout his new and subliminally tyrranical empire. Despite quelling many of these rebellions, the undermining of his now complete rule slowly grew. Soon, from the crumbling foundations of his kingdom, a single hero rose, leading the defiant people against him. Although still a formidable force, Sollun's army was no match for the newfound resolve of the people and the hero. Barricaded into his own castle, Sollun refused to surrender even as the militia broke in, slaughtering hundreds and refusing to stand down. Finally, the uprising's leader, the people's new hero, engaged Sollun in battle. Sure of his victory and the end of resistance, Sollun was unprepared to find himself forced back, as battle drew them to the top tower of his castle. In a final duel to the death as a storm raged around them, the hero plunged his sword into Sollun's heart and forced him over the edge, where he fell to his death.
ATTRIBUTES
Commander: As the ruler of an empire before his death, Sollun remains an experienced, if brutal, leader of his troops even as a general.
Field general: As well as his tactical skills, Sollun is also highly adept in combat, though he does not often engage the enemy himself. Which is probably for the best, for his oponents.
Weaponry
Treachery:
Sollun's primary weapon is his seemingly rediculously large sword, a blade two feet wide and five feet long, though with his great size, Sollun wields it with ease. The last foot of the blade's length is triangular, pointing out at either side, giving the blade the appearance of an arrow. Its width is a forged steel-black colour, while the blade on its outside remains a polished silver. The handle is white - silver, much like his armour. The black colour of the sword itself contrasts starkly with this.
Sollun uses little else, believing other sorts of weapons to be largely uncivilised.
Notes:
Sorry his history's a little short. You get the idea, it's just a lot to write... >_>
Also, I kind of needed a Lao "commander" sort of character, just to make him do stuff.
