PERSONALITY
Benvolio is ever the gentlemen, putting others before himself and always speaking in subdued tones and rarely raising his voice. He's calm, cool and collected; always keeping a level head when others are stressing out. He is polite to everyone, Lao or Zukai, who shows him no ill intent.

However, despite how polite and calm he is, he absolutely cannot stand obnoxious and rude people, Aiden sitting at the top of his list of things he doesn't like. He is determined to one day wipe the smirk of that smug demon's face, whether he likes it or not.

HISTORY
Born into the town of Morell in the Alban province, Benvolio was nineteen when his parents sold him off as a servant to the Romano family, where he worked diligently and all his earnings went back to his struggling parents. He worked there for many months as the coach driver, Alphonse's, assistant. When he was asked to meet Lord Romano one afternoon, he was introduced to the lord's daughter, a girl by the name of Rose. At first they didn't get along at all, frustrating the others efforts to call a truce to their constant bickering and rudeness. But after a run in with the mysterious Lord Hayne, Benvolio became Rose's support and the two developed feelings for each other.
Then one night as he was returning to Rose's room to bid her goodnight, he was attacked by Hayne's servant as he attempted to escape, at first the man thinking he had been attempting to steal from the family. However, as he turned and found the body of his beloved mistress cold and covered in blood, he realized just what the other man had done.
Distraught, Benvolio became hell bent on revenge, sneaking out one night and murdering Lord Hayne himself. When he found out he had been followed by his closest friend, the librarian Reinold, the two of them went into hiding as the town turned against them. They lived in this way for a year, constantly moving and stealing just to survive. But still Benvolio felt he hadn't dealt justice, and so he went off in search of Hayne's servant. After a violent struggle in the courtyard of Hayne's manor, Benvolio managed to stab the other through the heart, but not before being dealt heavy blows himself.
Benvolio's right eye had been torn out, and his left arm had been damaged badly. He wandered around for three days, meeting up with Reinold again just as the police caught on to their trail. In an attempt to save his friend, Reinold forced Benvolio to hide away while he distracted those that wanted him dead. However, Reinold never took into account that he, too, was a wanted criminal.
Benvolio watched on in horror as he best friend was killed before his eyes, stabbed to death by the very people who used to side with them. It was then he realized that he had lost everything, and he rose from his hiding place and allowed them to lead him away.
On the morning after he was found in front of the entire town, standing on a platform at his own public execution. He didn't flinch as he looked down on the faces he used to know, Alphonse the Coach Driver, Lord Romano, his own parents.
But everyone heard him as he muttered heartfelt words of defeat and remorse, his words echoing within the square;
'I regret not what I did but what I did not do'
And then the guillotine fell and his life was ended.

Benvolio was reborn into the city, maintaining his original form and memories. His eye was gone and his arm was so badly scarred that he covered up both horrendous reminders of his crimes, trying to forget all that he did and live to protect the world he had been recreated into.

ATTRIBUTES
Weapon
Ben wields his weapon in his right hand, being much stronger than the other. He fights with a simple pole made of light metal with much heavier, stronger metal on the end. Despite how heavy it looks, he wields this weapon with ease, able to fight with one hand and use his elemental power with the other.

While his bandaged arm doesn't look to be that dangerous, it wields all of his water and wind power. Quite literally, it explodes into torrents of water and gales of wind whenever he wishes it to. With it, he can either attack from close range or long range, channeling the elements into projectiles or simply trying to drown the opponent straight up.
The further the distance, the more energy it takes.
