APPEARANCE

humanoid form .;.

not completely human, he keeps many of his animal attributes. in this form, he stands about 5,3". he still has big floppy ears that hang over his eyes, and a fluffy grey tail sticks out his backside. he wears a red collar around his neck and wears bandages on his ears and hands. he wears a white button-up shirt that appears to be streaked and splattered with blood. he wears jeans that are torn at the knees, and a chain hangs loosely from the belt loops. in this form, one of his crimson eyes is actually visible, while the other is shielded by bandages that wrap neatly under his hair and around his head. his hair is the same dull grey colour, and is constantly hanging over his eyes.

when looking to be left alone, lucifer often shapeshifts into a small grey rabbit with huge floppy ears. he wears a red collar around his neck, and he has bandages wrapped around one of his ears. he also often wears bandage over his eyes, since he's usually upset, causing his eyes to bleed rather than fill with tears; he only shows his eyes to someone he truly trusts. so, most of the time he is blind. he seems to be solid, but when he moves, his paws seem to bleed colour, and a small blurry haze is often left in his wake. only when he is touched does his body blur and show transparency. this is his most common form when approaching people at first, as he is extremely shy.

when upset or angered, he will turn into his second form, a more undead, frightening version of himself. the bandage over his eyes will either bleed through, or fall away to reveal black pits with crimson leaking from their hollows. various wounds open over his skin, and he grows fangs and claws. he's really pretty harmless, but he is rather scary to look at, and may maul your face.

PERSONALITY

lucifer is a pretty quiet individual. he doesn't speak unless spoken to, and mostly just observes rather than acts. the only time he will act is when he feels the need to protect someone. he will only attach himself to one person at a time, and will stay by their side at all times in case they require assistance. he is attracted to people with terrible pasts, or those who wish to die/will die soon. he will only leave them if they die, and proceed to go searching for a new person to watch over. if he's bonded to you, he won't be able to go even if he wants to.

he is able to sense when people are sick and dying, especially children. he will be attracted to them from miles away, and will sleep at their side providing comfort until they take their last breath. he's very sweet that way, when it comes to children. he has a soft spot for them because of his history.

as a humanoid creature, his personality is pretty much the same. he's very child-like and innocent, often oblivious to things. though he's adorable and sweet, he's still deeply damaged, and can go days without speaking a single word. in fact, most of the time he only speaks with one word answers. he's usually very polite and soft-spoken, quite terrifed to antagonize anyone. as such, he makes the ideal punching bag, as he never really has the guts to defend himself. though, when he's in a particularly bad mood, he may just telekenesis your ass into a wall.

most of the time, he may even seem emotionless, even cold, but it's mostly because he doesn't quite know how to be "social". he's extremely awkward and generally doesn't catch on to jokes or sarcastic remarks.

HISTORY

in his earliest days, lucifer was a sworn protector of a young girl who'd found him in the wild and kept him as a pet. he was very loyal to her, and was her very best friend. she would take him everywhere with her, they were always out playing in the meadows. of course, lucifer would never let her know he was part human, and was fully content to be her cute baby bunny.

one day, when he the pair were out playing, they noticed a dark form crouching in the bushes. before they could even realize what was happening, the creature had sprung forwars, its long claws stretched out as it barreled toward them. frightened for his owner's safety, lucifer for the first time morphed into his humanoid form, and went to attack the shadow-enveloped beast. the two brawled for a few minutes, lucifer using his telekenesis to keep the foe at bay. however, the creature was far stronger than he was, and tossed the battered half-human out of the way with one slash of it's mighty claws. with lucifer out of the way and partially blinded, the creature then advaced on the little girl, who lay in the grass a few feet away, legs tucked in to her chest and racked with sobs.

not finished with the battle, lucifer staggered to his feet and fought the monster again, using his reaper weapon more precisely. however, as he was about to slash the beast, it dodged quickly. but it was too late for lucifer, who was mid-action, and consequently ended up stabbing someone entirely different in his half-blind state.

her eyes seemed to give a final flicker, her face still a mask of innocence as she crumbled to the ground, crimson pooling around her and soaking her dress. frozen in horror, he couldn't speak, he couldn't even breath. she was dead; he had killed his best friend.

grinning a dark malevolent grin, the creature shot forward, running him through with it's long claws. he slid to his knees, dying slowly as he bled out in the tall grasses beside his owner. because he was an unsettled spirit for accidentally killing the little girl, he was left to drift around as a Spirit.

for years he floated in and out of existence, appearing mostly to young children who were dying of illness in order to comfort them as they went. he had no real home, nor friends of any sort.

ATTRIBUTES

lucifer has the power of "death", but he can only bring it to those who are supposed to die. as in, he cannot simply kill anyone he wants, he can only bring death to those who wish for it, and those who are destined to die at that moment. he can also speak to the dead, and even give rise to corpses. though, he can only control ghouls and corpses for as long as he stays focused. if he doesn't, the corpses fall to the ground lifeless once more, and the ghosts simply fade into nothingness.

he also has a limited amount of psychic energy. he can use telekenesis to lift his foes and throw them about like a ragdoll, but it takes a great deal of energy out of him. if used in succession, he blacks out out of exhaustion.

his weapon is a double edged reaper. both blades are extremely sharp, and are adorned with various voodoo items and charms. the silver blades are now foggy grey and rusted with blood.
