PERSONALITY
Aiden is every bit the embodiment of the word 'prick'. He sports an absolutely foul attitude, always swearing and yelling and being a general obnoxious jerk. He's not one to listen to orders, lying to a higher ranking member's face before taking off and doing his own thing. However, give him a good enough reason and he'll do the job, especially if it means getting into fights with the Lao.
Aiden is always up for some adrenalin-pumping fight or chase, known to take off on his own just to stir up trouble. It's almost as if he likes to get under his Officer's skin, dancing just on the line that separates him from the other's wrath.
However, there are times when Aiden can be serious, even boasting leadership qualities when it comes to battle. Sometimes the anti-hero, he'll protect a fellow comrade and later come back to rub it in their face.
Aiden, despite his good looks and absolutely charming personality, has no luck at all with girls, much to his frustration and everyone elses amusement. When it comes to breakups, Aiden falls like a deadweight, sulking and crying and not coming out of his room for days. This sometimes poses a problem, but the fact that it's absolutely hilarious seems to overshadow that. Aiden, ever the searcher of information and attention, is known to simply wander around bars where he lets his looks do the talking, doing exactly what his species was built for - sleeping with people to get what they want.
All in all, Aiden's a dickhead that no one likes.

HISTORY
Once a child living in extreme poverty, Aiden spent much of his time fighting with his friends and honing his abilities in shadow manipulation, a small gift originating within his bloodline. As he grew up, he found his world slowly being taken over by the Lao, ending up in several fights during his youth with the other group.
As soon as he was old enough he joined the Zukai, at first his only goal being to earn enough money to pull his family out of the slums of the city. But when Lao comes through, murdering hundreds of the poor and the weak, Aiden's parents and sister are caught up in the bloodshed and are all killed. His brother still remains missing, with no hints to where he went.
Now he's determined to get his revenge, but only by his own means. It's his way or no way at all, and he's not interested in explaining that to his colleagues.

ATTRIBUTES
Weapon
Aiden has the gift shadow manipulation, which is the use of darkness channeled through an object to form a weapon. Appearing as the tattoos along his arm, his weapon takes on two forms, a halberd-esque weapon, and a pair of chakrams. The weapon can also manipulate itself into a shadow-like form, one that fights for him if he needs to escape. However, doing this drains a lot of his energy and leaves him very well defenseless.

Abbilities

- Aiden is quite a capable flier, fast and endurable, making him quite a dependable Scout

- He doesn't enjoy screwing around, getting his job done quickly so he can get on with his life

- His control over shadows make him quite a dangerous opponent, however his ability also leaves him wide open to attacks from the sides of behind

- Aiden can work in a group or with others, preferring to be social when it comes to fighting

- Terrain isn't a problem to him, fighting in the air as much as he does on foot.

Weaknesses

- Aiden has a deep fear of snails

- He can't swim

- He often gets too cocky and ends up losing

- Impatient and easily pissed off
